BuildSave operates the B2B marketplace at builtsave.com for surplus construction materials in the UAE. References to "we", "us" or "our" in this policy refer to BuildSave.

2. Information we collect

  • Account data — name, email address, phone number, and password hash when you register.
  • Company data — company name, trade licence number, and verification documents you submit.
  • Listing data — material descriptions, photos, pricing, and certificate documents you upload.
  • Transaction data — RFQs, quotes, and messages exchanged between buyers and sellers.
  • Usage data — pages visited, search queries, and filter preferences (no third-party tracking scripts).

3. How we use your information

  • Operate and improve the BuildSave platform.
  • Verify company identities and display verified badges to buyers.
  • Facilitate communication between buyers and sellers.
  • Send transactional emails (OTP verification, listing lifecycle alerts, RFQ notifications).
  • Maintain security, prevent fraud, and comply with applicable UAE law.

4. Sharing your information

We do not sell personal data. We share information only:

  • With the counterparty in a transaction (e.g. your company name and contact details are shared when a quote or RFQ is accepted).
  • With infrastructure providers (hosting, email delivery) under data-processing agreements.
  • When required by UAE law or a competent authority.

5. Data retention

Account data is retained while your account is active and for up to 2 years after closure. Listings expire after 30 days unless renewed. You may request deletion at any time via our contact page.

6. Security

Passwords are stored as bcrypt hashes. All traffic is encrypted via HTTPS. Sessions are stored server-side and expire automatically.

7. Your rights

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. Significant changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice. Continued use of BuildSave after changes constitutes acceptance.
